According to the news staff of the 7th Fajr Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival (Sarv-e Simin-e 7), ” Preserving Handicrafts, Preserving Palestinian Identity (Experience-based)” was the title of the workshop on the fifth day of the festival, which was held in cooperation with the World Crafts Council.
In this workshop, Osama Stiti first discussed the list of indigenous handicrafts in Palestine and stated: Some handicrafts in Palestine have been very prosperous in the economy.
He pointed to examples in this regard and added: ceramics, handicrafts made of wood and olives (leaves, wood and core) have played a great role in the economy and it can be said that there has been a lot of prosperity in businesses.
At the end, the participants in this workshop discussed their expertise and art with this Palestinian artisan about successful sales, education and promotion.
The 7th edition of Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival (Sarv-e Simin-e 7), is being held from 15-23 February at National Museum of Iran.
