The political and cultural representatives of Iran in different countries will be present at the closing ceremony of the 7th “Sarv-e Simin” festival through the Skyroom platform.
According to the news staff of the 7th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival (Sarv-e Simin-e 7), Mohammad Ali Kyani; the secretary of the specialized cultural and media working group of the Supreme Council for Iranians Expatriates, referring to the virtual presence of Iranian ambassadors and cultural attaches in the closing ceremony of the festival, said: we have announced to all the political and cultural representatives and embassies of Iran in about 80 countries, including Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Austria and many other European, Asian and African countries, etc., that they can attend the closing ceremony of the 7th Sarv-e Simin Festival online through the Skyroom platform.
He went on to emphasize the impact of cultural and artistic programs such as the “Sarv-e Simin” festival to introduce Iranian handicrafts and traditional arts inside and outside the country, and said: the issue of the economy of culture and art is one of the activities of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization. The development of cultural exports has always been the focus of Iranian cultural attaches in other countries. In fact, our cultural representatives abroad are also considered representatives of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. In Iran’s cultural weeks abroad, the main focus is the handicrafts and traditional arts of Iran. In the direction of greater synergy, a memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts and the head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization so that the cooperation will continue.
The 7th edition of Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival (Sarv-e Simin-e 7), is being held from 15-23 February at National Museum of Iran.
