According to Miras-e Arya news agency, the consensus meeting of the 8th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival was held with the presence of the Deputy Ministers and Director Generals of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage with the aim of diagnosing and examining the new approach compared to the previous edition of festival and call for a new interdisciplinary dialogue.
The consensus meeting of the 8th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival was held on Saturday 2 September 2023 with the presence of Maryam Jalali, Handicrafts Deputy Minister, Mohammad Ghasemi, Deputy Director General of International Affairs and Ministerial office, Vida Tavahodi, Director General of Education and Promotion of Deputy of Handicrafts, Nader Zeinali, Director General of Provincial Affairs, Mohammad Baqer Dashtgard, Director General of Information Technology, Hassan Meisami, Director General of Public Relations and Information, Morteza Emadi, Executive Secretary of the 7th edition of the festival, and a group of Director Generals ,in the office of Handicrafts Deputy Minister.
Diagnosing and examining the new approach compared to the previous edition of festival and call for a new interdisciplinary dialogue were among the topics discussed in this meeting. Also, strengthening of the information and digital field and inviting the ambassadors of the countries and making the side events more highlighted were discussed.
Special attention was paid to the number eight with the focus on Hazrat Ali Ibn Musa Al-Reza (PBUH) and adding “Art in Shrine” section, as well as the review of the approach and slogan of the 8th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival in this meeting.
