Handicrafts Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Ministry said: The 8th Fajr Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival will be held Internationally with the aim of generational connection and preserving identity in February in Tehran.
According to IRIB news agency reporter, Handicrafts Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Ministry at the press conference of 8th Fajr Intl Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival said: The 8th edition of Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival, entitled "Sarv-e Simin-e 8" (8th Silver Cypress), will be held from 17-20 February 2024 in Tehran.
Maryam Jalali continued: Fajr festival is a basic approach to safeguard the Islamic revolution and move towards the second step of the revolution.
She stated: The 8th Fajr Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival will be held Internationally with the aim of generational connection and preserving identity.
Handicrafts Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Ministry added: We envisioned three major goals in this festival, and in fact, we focused on connecting the next generation to handicrafts.
Stating that Fajr festival is product-oriented and export is important for us, Jalali continued: It is important for us to attract the attention of the next generation to handicrafts and to honor elders and veterans of handicrafts.
Handicrafts Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Ministry said: Handicrafts come from the heart of the villages and the ground for cultural dialogues should be provided.
Jalali stated: If the relationship between the staff and line is strengthened in handicrafts, social capital can be produced and social-cultural cohesion and dynamism can be helped.
