Behnaz Ahmadi Farsani has been appointed as the Academic Secretary of the 9th Sarv-e Simin International Handicrafts Festival (Fajr Handicrafts Festival) by decree of Maryam Jalali, Deputy for Handicrafts at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts.

Maryam Jalali officially selected Behnaz Ahmadi Farsani, the Director-General of the Office of Education and Promotion of Handicrafts, for this esteemed position. The appointment was formally announced during a ceremony honoring the contributors to the 37th National Handicrafts Exhibition, held today, Monday, November 25. The decree was presented by Ali Darabi, Deputy Minister and Vice Minister of Cultural Heritage.

The 9th Sarv-e Simin International Handicrafts Festival is scheduled to take place in Tehran from February 22 to February 25, 2025.
