The President of the World Crafts Council, Saad Al-Qaddumi, emphasized Iran's significant role in safeguarding and promoting traditional handicrafts during the closing ceremony of the 9th Fajr International Handicrafts Festival (Sarv-e-Simin 9).

He highlighted Iran’s rich cultural heritage, the recognition of 16 cities and villages as World Craft Cities, and the country’s commitment to preserving its artisanal traditions.

Al-Qaddumi praised the festival as a platform for international collaboration and cultural exchange, expressing his hope for stronger ties between Iranian artisans and the global handicrafts community.
