According to the reporter of Miras-e Aria, Maryam Jalali stated on Monday evening, at the closing ceremony of the 9th Fajr International Festival of Handicrafts and (Sarv-e Simin 9), which was held in the presence of Hojjat al-Esalam Mohseni Ejei, Head of the Judiciary, Saad al-Qadoumi, President of the World Handicrafts Council, Seyyed Reza Salehi Amiri, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts at the conference hall of the Milad Tower in Tehran, saying: The 9th Sarv-e Simin came to an end today after six months of planning and three months of preparation. Iranian handicrafts have not been stagnant throughout history. Meanwhile, handicrafts have not been left out of the description and are always pursuing their own path of progress and development.

The Deputy Minister of Handicrafts of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts continued: Today, we held the 9th Sarv-e Simin Festival with the slogan of national unity and cultural diversity. Indeed, today's unity has been well manifested in handicrafts and, along with handicrafts, has shown itself in all three areas of the ministry's missions.

She continued: This is not a closing ceremony, but a motto for commitment and action. Handicraft artists, along with cultural heritage activists and managers, as well as managers and activists in the tourism sector, are here to say that we can solve economic issues with an identity-based economy.

Jalali added: We are people who build. We are treasures from suffering. Handicrafts are one of our most valuable assets. The best way to prevent crime is to promote handicrafts in such a way that handicraft artists have the lowest crime and prison rates, while prisoners are also taught the art of handicrafts.

The Deputy Minister of Handicrafts of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, while appreciating all the organizers and participants in the 9th Sarv-e Simin Festival, reminded: From trade to authenticity, it is active in the Iranian ecosystem. In handicrafts, we do not have child laborers, but rather creative children. We are a big family. Handicrafts are family-oriented and every Iranian home is a museum of traditional arts.

At the end of her speech, Jalali referred to the arrival of Nowruz and the holy month of Ramadan and noted: Both upcoming opportunities, both Nowruz and the holy month of Ramadan, are a very favorable space for utilizing the capacities of handicraft artists and developing this art and industry, as well as creating employment and income.
