Vice President for Women and Family Affairs of the President of Iran and Vice Minister for Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts met in an interactive meeting on 7 January 2023 in Fajr conference hall in the ministry venue.

This meeting was held with the presence of Mr. Ezzatollah Zaghami, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts and Dr.Maryam Jalali, Vice Minister for Handicrafts and Traditional Arts, and Dr. Ensieh Khaz’ali  Vice President for Women and Family Affairs.

Mr. Zarghami stated handicrafts are art and at the same time the identity and the president of Iran has a special attention to the handicrafts.

Minister of Cultural heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, mentioning women’s progresses in various fields after the Islamic revolution of Iran said: “There have been unfair judgements regarding women’s progresses and their social roles after the revolution, during recent 100 days incidents”.

Ensieh Khaz’ali said in this meeting: “I hope all relevant organizations be involved in the evolution and great progress of handicrafts and play a significant role in this regard”.

Khaz’ali, mentioning the remarks of the Supreme leader of I.R. of Iran regarding significant role of woman in social and economic activities besides household management, continued: we should have productive houses that results in transmission of culture from generation to generation.
