Hossein Esmaili, Side Events Committee Chairman of the “7th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival” announced that seven specialized workshops will be held in this edition of Fajr Festival.
According to the news agency of “7th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival” (Sarv-e Simin-e7), Seven specialized workshops will be held as the side events of the festival ,simultaneously with the opening of the “7th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival”.
Hossein Esmaili, Side Events Committee Chairman of the “7th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival”, mentioning the timeline of the workshops said: the workshop on “Introduction to Inscription of Intangible Cultural Heritage elements (Traditional Craftsmanship) on the Lists of UNESCO- Introducing Iran Inscribed elements of Traditional Craftsmanship on the World Lists of ICH- Introducing 2 Inscribed Elements of Traditional Craftsmanship on the World List of ICH” will be held on Wednesday 15th February 2023 at 13-15 with presentation of Mr. Shervin Goudarzi.
He added: Mr. Yavar Abiri will make presentation on “Presenting Good Practices of Ecotourism in Handicrafts Domain” workshop on Thursday 16th February 2023. Moreover, Mr. Amir Miri will be the instructor for “Presenting Good Practices of Ecotourism in Handicrafts Domain” on Friday 17th February 2023 at 13-15, he declared.
Esmaili stated: “Designing and Developing Business Structure Compatible with Sustainable Development Paradigm and High Resilience in Creative Cultural Industries Domain (especially Handicrafts and Ecotourism)” is another workshop which will be held on Sunday 19th February 2023 at 13-15 with presentation of Mr. Pourang Pour Hosseini.
Chairman of Side Events Committee of “7th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival” also said: “Handicrafts and Environment” is the topic of another workshop which will be held on Tuesday 21 February at 10-11 in cooperation with Traditional Arts Institute and Dr. Manijeh Khalili will be instructor of the workshop. Moreover, Dr. Babak Danesh Far makes presentation at the workshop on “Medicine and Handicrafts” on Tuesday 21 February at 13-15 in cooperation with Traditional Arts Institute as well. Also, the workshop on “Historical Analysis of Khatam Kari Doors preserved in Iran National Museum” will be held on Tuesday 21 February at 14-15. Dr. Samira Arab is the instructor of the latter workshop, he continued.
Hossein Esmaili told: the ones who are interested in participating in theses workshops are invited to attend the workshops at National Museum of Iran’s amphitheater, no:1, professor Rollen St, 30 Tir St, Emam Khomeini St, Tehran, Iran. These workshops will also be delivered virtually on the website of Cultural Heritage Research Center, he added.
The 7th edition of “Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival” (Sarv-e Simin-e7), will be held on 15-23 February at National Museum of Iran.
