“Ali-Khani” ritual (praising Emam Ali) was performed by Morshed Varmarzyar at the opening of the 7th Fajr Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival.
According to the news staff of the 7th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival (Sarv-e Simin-e 7), Morshed Varmarzyar, at the beginning of his speech, said: Art is the pinnacle of the glory of human servitude to God.
He also recited verses from “Shahnameh”, the epic poetic masterpiece of Ferdowsi to the audiences.
Morshed pointed to “Alinameh” and narrated a story from the last four centuries after Islam, which Rabi wrote about the Battle of Jamal.
The 7th edition of Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival (Sarv-e Simin-e 7), is being held from 15-23 February at National Museum of Iran.
