Vice Minister for Tourism of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts: “Festival preserves our civilizational link with the neighboring countries”.

Ali Asghar Shalbafian said: The festival is an opportunity to present the artworks of international artisans from neighboring countries, which strengthens our civilizational bond with these countries and is very effective for preserving the national identity of our country.
According to the news staff of the 7th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival (Sarv-e Simin-e 7), Ali Asghar Shalbafian; Vice Minister for Tourism of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, during his visit to the festival said: The 7th Sarv-e Simin Festival has exposed very fine, innovative and valuable artworks to those interested in this field.
He added: This festival is an opportunity to reveal the talents and the artworks of the artisans who, if they did not attend the festival, might not have been able to appear and emerge clearly at the national and international level.
Shalbafian said: The festival is a place for gathering the main owners of handicrafts. Artisans who have done very well in this field gathered together to display their works. One of the features of this festival is the presence of artworks by international artisans from neighboring countries, which strengthens our civilizational bond with these countries and is very effective in preserving the national identity of our country.
The 7th Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival (Sarv-e Simin-e 7) is being held from 15- 23 February 2023 at the National Museum of Iran.
