Festival Objectives

  1. Introducing and exhibiting achievements of Deputy for Handicrafts and Traditional Arts during previous year, in the fields of International Awards of Excellence, National Awards of Excellence, Veterans’ Works of Art, the products regarding Ruyesh-e Dobare Sarv (Regrowth of Cypress) , children who followed their parents’ handicrafts occupation)
  2. Promoting the position of handicrafts and traditional arts inside and outside of the country by this festival
  3. Exhibiting high capacity of creative and innovative products in handicrafts and traditional arts
  4. Strengthening employment infrastructure based on producing fine and excellent – fine and functional handicrafts products concentrating on creative utilization.
  5. Realization of identity-based economy
  6. Introducing high-level artisans and crafts people to society also to each other and obtaining their viewpoints about exhibited products
  7. Facilitating international economic and commercial activities and trade for handicrafts and traditional arts stakeholders
  8. Preparing the ground for broad and efficient dialogue and responding to matters concerning handicrafts and traditional arts focusing on 3 axis: artisans, media and society
  9. Trying to establish cultural Justice and considering identity elements of provinces.
    10- Trying to direct and raise attention to also make Fajr handicrafts and traditional arts festival well-known and doing style making in target communities.
